Roof Preservation/Restoration Project
Spray-Tec assisted local developers, Dunn & Sons, in the preservation of a historic Frankfort building built in the early 1900’s. With over 18,000 sq. ft., the building was in need of some much needed rehabilitation. As you can see from the photos below, the roof was in bad shape with many major leaks damaging the inside of the building. Spray-Tec had night crews tear off the existing roof so crews during the day could begin laying board and spraying the new spray polyurethane foam (SPF) system. This made the process go by quickly and efficiently, allowing the rest of the restoration to stay on schedule. After the foam was sprayed, 2 coats of light, reflective coating was sprayed over top – completing the project. Spray-Tec is proud to have had a hand in giving this roof new life! If you have a historic building you’re preserving, give us a call: we also do roof consulting!
The Dad and Son Team we worked with on this project was recently featured in the Frankfort State Journal for some of their other work. You can read that article here.
